Summary: We stayed at the Vista for 2 night and loved it. It was quaint, clean, and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. It had a little patio out back with views of the beach. Some of the other rooms had balconies. The had free, very basic, breakfast outside under a tent every morning. Coffee, juice, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants,. It was great for us but not if you want a hearty breakfast. Downtown was about a 30-40 minute walk but they also had a taxi for $10 you could take. We forgot to bring sunscreen and the woman at the hotel ran over to her cabinet and gave us a full bottle. On our way home, I received a call from the hotel saying I left my pocketbook there. Since we were 30 minutes away, the woman at the hotel offered to mail it to me. Since I needed everything in it right away, we went back to get it. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back!

Summary: The motel was ok overall. Very much no frills. Online, it indicated that all rooms had an ocean view. Not true. Upon arrival, we were told we had an obstructed view, which meant we could only see trees. Two of the rooms have no view. Had I known this was “obstructed view”, I would not have rented the room. Online, it indicated it was the only room available. This is probably a website issue. The beds were like sleeping on box springs. My body hurts after sleeping on this bed. They are either extremely old mattresses, or the cheapest mattresses they could find. Both, my bed, and my friend’s, were like sleeping on box springs. Water is very slow to warm up, but it does get warm. Breakfast is a hard boiled egg, yogurt, and breads, so we didn’t bother. The rooms are dated, but very clean. The area is very safe. Employees are very kind and helpful.

Summary: At check-in, Sandy, was extremely accommodating. Excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the room was very dated and had a musty smell. The linens, bedspread and towels were very old. The view from the room was very nice. I would not stay there again until the rooms are updated.

Summary: Decided to base here instead of Boston hotel as we had a car and made a cheaper option. Only thing it took over 1 hour to do the 30 miles to Boston. Breakfast was limited but I'm not sure if this is due to time of year. Nice area to base for traveling
